I picked this up for Xboxearly in December after lusting after it month after month. I can say easily, I am not disappointed. I’m so often disappointed in these kind of games, the PS3and Wiiwere both a let down on fitness but this one-WOW.
If you’re following along with the fitness challenge and have an Xbox, even if you just have the xbox and want to get in shape give this a go.
One thing I like so much about it is the variety! Not only do you get a lot of different workouts, you get short or longer times. From short 2 minute ‘learn it’ to longer 30+ minute lessons. You’ve got warm ups, fun and short. Dancing, yoga, tai chi, boxing, weights, running. Almost anything you’d want to do at home with hand weights is on this game.
Speaking of tai chi, if like me, your kids just can’t seem to sit still and meditate then THIS is how to get it done. Spider monkey loves it, but she can’t sit still or keep her mouth closed for more than 3 minutes at a time. She is getting better, I think that comes from going hunting with ZK but I digress. Little sizzling hiney…meditating is not even possible for the shortest amount of time. You know me, I’m always finding a way to accommodate their style (big focus on homeschool) by finding ways around their weakness until it can be conquered as they get older.
