I’ve only done one blog event before and that was a simple Yule theme. This one is going to be more interesting, and I’m hoping a few of you (Pagan or not) might join in-just for the fun and fitness of it.

I wrote a post about parental responsibility and fitness so this shouldn’t be a surprise. What might be a bit surprising is how this particular event works, it’s focus. The original focus is an element based challenge which you’ll pick something to change based on Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. If that is a bit much for you then feel free to just change eating habits, work out a bit and share it on the page linked by that button above.

MY focus based on elements will be;

Earth- Walk at least 1 hour, outside per day.

Air- Fitness will be focused on endurance, literally breath (as in being out of breath).

Fire- Fuel, changing the food I eat to properly fuel my body. I don’t eat BAD but it could be a bit better.

Water- This is easy, drink 8 glasses of water per day.

Spirit- I’m going to meditate daily. Starting with 5 minutes and increasing.

I’ve mentioned Myfitnesspal before and this would be a perfect time to sign up, whether it be for your own personal reasons or sharing it openly as part of this challenge.

While I will follow along and post my weekly check in to the challenger blog I am going to post things that I come across to motivate you, all related to the elemental focus. Fitness will be in the title so if this isn’t your cup of tea just ignore it.
